The project : a cultural and useful expedition to share wonders of the African continent

In the original spirit of 1924 / 1925 Citroen Croisiere Noire made by the Citroen half track vehicles, Globe-driver nextly organizes a South-North crossing of Africa continent with Traction-avant especially prepared.

Our objectives are :

* produce a TV documentary and photo reports on comparing Africa of 1925 and Africa of today, by going into the villages encountered by the "Croisière Noire" in 1925.

* post-produce an official exhibition (photos, illustrations, items), an illustrated book and a DVD.

* pay tribute to the members of the 1924 / 1925 expedition, who were the pioneers of the trans african automobile expeditions.

* test the material of this expedition for our various partners, in order to prepare future projects.

planed for january 2010, the first survey of this expedition will be held in january 2009 for the part: Tunis - Gardaia - Ouagadougou - Cotonou .
